I took the above picture from the rock in this one. This was one of the most colorful maple trees along the river, and it shows!
My brother and his girlfriend provide a good reference for the enormous size of this ancient oak tree found down river of the Belltown store.
Within view of the oak above is this giant white pine, which again is brought into perspective. Jonesy couldn't miss a photo op here. This woods actually contains a number of large trees, most of them white pine. These two were the largest we could find near the road.
