The Gardens of Claude Monet
The day before we left, we were scheduled to visit Versaille (place where the Versaille Treaty was signed), but due to workers' strikes that week, they shut it off to tourists. So, we were fortunate enough to visit the place that inspired the creation of many of Monet's paintings: his gardens! On one side of the road you will find the Japanese gardens - where the paintings of the bridge and lily pads were derived from. On the other side, you will find his beautiful flower gardens, full of life and color.
