The Owl of Brunkeflo
Once upon a time, when men were attractive enough when they had less than 3 eyes, there was an old woman in Brunkeflo. Her name was Mary Beth, but everyone just called her "The owl of Brunkeflo". You maybe wonder why???? It was because she was standing on the market-place in Brunkeflo selling tomatoes and watching the people like an owl and spinning stries about them all the time.

The owl told her stories to everyone that came over, buying some tomatoes. She had a story about everybody. Not all of the stories where true at all. If she couldn´t find a story about someone she made one up.

Once she brought up a really bad rumour about an Farmer called Hank. The owl told he had murdered someone. Soon it was all over town and eventhough nobody was missing they all got scared by him.

Things became that bad, that the sheriff himself was talking to Hank about it. And Hank decided to disappear for a while, until the people had forgotten this rumour. He went to the forrest and no one heard about him for two years.

Than Hank was coming back and since people, that are so extremly inbreded like the people in Brunkeflo, can´t remember what was up 2 years ago when they are not directly involved with it, they was so glad he was back that they made him their mayor.

After Hank became the mayor he decided that Mary Beth, the owl of Brunkeflo had to be roped tight on a tree on the market-place for 30 days. No one knew why he did so actually, cause they forgot about the thing two yars ago, but they thought that if their mayor says it got to be this way, it is right. So the owl had to stay roped tight on this tree for such a long time and as you can imagine she stopped spraying lies from the day on she was free again...
