Week No. 6 |
th of April Dear diary, Today the day was very beautiful and there were flowers all over Brunkeflo. The birds were singing and I started getting spring-feelings, eventhough it worked so bad with Jimmy. I could still bite me in my own butt for beeing so stupid. But what can I do? I hope time will work and heal all wounds. Well, there was also something weird when I passed some children singing a strange song that was going like that: "Stranger, stranger donīt go in the swamp. Stranger last week it caught my aunt the week before it caught my cousin Sue, maybe next week it will catch you" Well, I donīt think that this is a nice song for children and I had to think of how Jimmy warned me not to go in the swamp. Was the song of the children a result of superstituos belive that they parents told them to be good kids or did Jimmy lie to me and that was the reason why no one else was willing to tell it to me?
th of April Dear diary, Whenever I think of Jimmy now I wish he were here, this lovely little country-man. But Iīm afraid it will take long till he goes to a place on which Iam as well. Mae already made me the offer to bring us together and shut us in somewhere or whatever, but that time hasnīt come yet. I try to think of other things and started to make a little garden. I plan to let grow salad and tomatoes, maybe some corn. It will be cheaper than buying it. I hope itīs not to late to get it growing. After all I was busy doing so the whole day long. After all my back hurted like hell and I felt down in the hay like a stone on the ground.

th of April Dear diary, I decided that I will teach the children here how to write. I got the idea when Old Crazy Ann came to me so I would read a newspaper to her cause she wasnīt able to. When I found out that a minority on children is able to read I got this idea for my little school. So I told their mayor Al that I would like to do that. It will make me not thinking about Jimmy.
th of April Dear diary, it is pretty hard to teach this children to read and write. Today I taught them A, B, C and D. They had to write it a several times and than name some words that start with it. This children were dirty, but so small and cute... You wouldnīt belive it. I think I will teach them how to wash and to behave in near future.
th of April Dear diary, Today ABSOLUTLY nothing happened. NOTHING. Damn. It was so boring.
th of April Dear diary, Nothing ever happens in Brunkeflo. My life is really boring and so are you...
