SO Who do you want to rule then
Your vote or the President of the United States of Europe because
that is what will happen if we go too far...

The common currency will need a common bank and a common parliament
to control the currency...

A common parliament across Europe means only one thing.
ONE EFFECTIVE COUNTRY...

Why not? Personally I would not mind being one country with Europe. This would have emmense advantages.
The USA is one country.
THERE ARE PROBLEMS THOUGH.

These are:

The Economies across Europe are radically different -
stabilising one currency will be very difficult - vast sums of money
will have to change hands to stabilise the economy of Europe.
Look at Western Germany - they have to pay extra TAXES to
stabilise Germany's economy!
Everyone in the richer countries of Europe will pay.

There is still friction between countries in Europe.
Older generations still remember the World Wars and hatred exists there.
Long standing friction between Great Britain and France.
Eastern Europe is still warring over land - Bosnia is basically part of Europe.
How would you like it if part of country is at war with another part?
Yes that would mean Civil War in Europe.
These areas need sorting out - vast numbers of our troops being there
is NOT an answer.
Northern Ireland - enough said...

Look at the amount of paperwork generated by a partial union of Europe.
How much more will we have when Europe is in full control???
We will be SUNK by bureaucracy.
Bureaucracy means more expense.

Believe it or not Communism is rife in Europe.
There are many rules and regulations that are turning Europe into a Communist
SUPERSTATE.
This in itself is not bad BUT do you want to end up like Russia?
An economic and social mess.
Communism does not work. Russia proved this. Human nature
runs against Communism and it fails, spectacularly.
CAP - Common Agricultural Policy is one example.
Balanced prices, quotas to produce, products to produce are set out for our farmers
to produce. Why should we have Europe telling us what to grow? We do not
tell Australia what to grow do we?
Balanced prices means some products are permenantly expensive.
More expense.

OK THEN...

What is in it for us then?
More expense.
Civil War.
Communism.
Bureaucracy.

Maybe better trade.

But trade agreements exist with America and we are not
part of America due to that reason are we? No. But that
is the reason for the Common Currency. Better trade.
Hmmmm. Ulterior motives might be rife.

So what do we do. We say,
Wake up Europe.
BOO EC.
Sign a petition.
Make yourself heard.
You are an individual.
Not part of a system.
Keep your rights. Say no to a Communist Europe.

Once the petition list is 1000 or more then the Government will be sent this Petition
