It was a beautiful day. Al always looked great in white, and today was no exception. All in all everything was perfect. A nice day to start again, I decided as I watched him sign the register.

"Are you sure about this, Sam?" he asked, handing me the pen.

I had to smile. Al with all his experience was behaving as if he had never even taken one trip down the aisle, let alone six.

"Yes," I told him as I carefully wrote my name next to his. "Today is the first day of the rest of our lives together."
