Future Visions

The land was black.Air couldn't carry even a whisper.Sky was gray and crying blood.Deadly cold wind sang upon the lifeless land.

The gods had turned their back to people whith the fait they had for them.Ignore all the prayers, wanted them to see what would happen to poor stupid people.Cries filled the air.The smell of burning flesh was all around. And gods watched this all from their clouds.watched people scream in pain, saying their final prayers not giving up their faith.Begging for mercy.

Rain hit down the sky.Burning hot rain of fire.Burning everything to the ground having no mercy.Green fields tutned black.Trees stood up,black their twisted twigs reaching to the heavens like a final prayer for mercy. No prayers were replied. It was just death among them all.

Gods wanted people to see their place, who was their lord and gave the ordes.Who ruled and who was the servant.

But was the lesson learned?No-one is here to tell..

A millenium had passed.land was still as dead as it had been.No eyes had seen the earth, not even the gods payed attention to this all.Who universe had been left alone,to wither away and the total destruction.

A pure white ray of light came down from the sky.as birght as the hope people had in gods. The land wasn't forgotten, the first person after thousand years was again standing on the ground that once was filled with life.Ray of hope.

Pale eyes sadly looked at the land, she had landed. With a sigh she turned around and walked through it all.Closed her eyes and saw the past.Heard the screams like it all would have bene happening at that very moment.

How can they let it be this way?She missed the land that had been so lifeful and great to live in.Her pale figure looking for an answer,a reason for this all.

She raised her hands, right up to the heavens and quietly but with no doubts she said the final prayer she had for the land.

"When the darkness,turns into death,
there is nothing we can do.
When the gods decide to give us a lesson,
there is nothing we can do.
But in cruelty,
and misjudging,
the truth must be said out loud.
The faith did not die,
like this land did.
Faith lives strong,
right at the centre of it.
So hear me out,
set it free.
Let this land live again..."

She just stood there.Looking up,waiting for an answer. Not giving anything back in the faith she had.She crossed her arms, waiting.Minutes passed.Hours and days. She stood there.Alone.Like the land had done before she came.

The answer came.A pure rain hit down the clouds.Refreshing rain. She smiled and fell on her knees thanking the gods that had listened to her.Letting the rain wet her dress, she rolled on the ground laughing happily. The first laugh heard in so many years.

The rain stopped. The clouds moved away.Sky was crystal clear as the vision she had.It was time to live again.
