Pastor's Vision

1. The Lost
The lost is made up of two categories. They are-
a.) The Unsaved It is my vision that this church will be in the business of saving the lost. This church will follow God's leading in bringing these into a place of repentance.
b.) The Backslidden Christian One of the most devastating things in this world is a backslidden Christian. I want these that have fallen to return to a place of restoration with their maker. There is healing found in Christ that is not available through anything or anyone else. God wishes these to come home and find their home once again within his protection and peace.

2. Discipleship
Discipleship is also made up of 2 categories. These are-
a.) The Saved The Children of God are a vast army that are the most vital force of humans on this planet. The weapons of this mighty crew is the Word of God, Prayer, the Power of the Holy Spirit, Faith, Fellowship, as well as other things. It is the purpose of this church to provide these things to the Christian's of the Silver Valley.
b.) The Unsaved I believe that in order for a person to make a sound decision to accept Christ they must know about him, and the price to serve him. Discipleship is going to teach these non-believers the truth about God and Christianity before they even come to a decision about him. Also, once they are saved, they will know more and be more prepared for the life they have ahead. In addition to this, I do not want anyone who has attended this church to be able to say that we did not teach them about God.

3. Missions
The only way for the world to know about Christ is by taking the word of God out from the church to the World. A Christian will never fulfill his potential by isolating himself from the world around him. He must shine through the darkness like a lighthouse, warning others who pass by of the dangers of life without the saving grace found in Jesus Christ. A Christian is like a reflecting light source. We can see an example of this by looking at the relationship of the sun to the moon. Have you ever been out at night and been able to see by the light of the moon? this light is not from the moon, but the Sun's light reflecting off of it. As Christians, we need to do this. While many non-christians cannot look directly at God, they can see his light reflecting in us. This is how we can shine this light. By sending out our people to minister to the community and our world.
