Jun 28, 1801, Claremont, New Hampshire, was the son of Silas Royse and Lois Graves. Isabel's mother, Nancy Chaplin, b. Aug 12, 1813, Bennington, Vermont, was the daughter of James Chaplin and Sarah Whitney. Sarah Atherton Whitney, b. Sep 3, 1787, Massachusetts, was daughter of John Whitney and Hannah Atherton. The Whitney line traces back to immigrant Ancestor Thomas Whitney, son of John Whitney, and b. England, Sep 10, 1627.
