Barney Gumble This is my (Rob's) favorite character. In fact, I will be making an entire page devoted to this drunk. He has got to be the most hilarious character on the show. (Jay disagrees; he says Professor John Frink is) He is Homer's best friend, and bar mate. Barney is always drinking. In fact, the only episode he wasn't drunk was when he was one of the candidates for going into space... but that's another story.
