my high school has *finally* established a gay-straight alliance! it's nothing much right now, so if anyone has advice or experiences about such clubs to share, i would be very much obliged.





my recommended book of the month (or interval of time between updates, which may very well be exponentially longer) is: The Satanic Verses by Salman Rushdie. it has nothing to do with satanism, and is an incredible work of art. and it is because of this book that rushdie has to live in hiding. reading this book is both a tribute to him and to freedom of the press. thank you. **steps off soapbox**
