ALPENA VS. SOUTHDOWN CHALLENGER

The main question here is why? Why is what I think you are asking yourself. Well there is a perfectly good answer to that question........... BECAUSE!!!

It all started on the night of Saturday, July 17, 1999, in the boatnerd buzz on the Great Lakes and Seaway Shipping (Vessel Passage). There was seven men in there,(Interlake, Manistee, ssliwka, Frenchy1004, South, Irvin, and last but not least MikefromIndy. We had all started to talk about how Charlevoix was a stupid town, and sports team, when I changed the subject. I told Manistee that the Southdown Challenger was a MUCH (and in my opinion) better boat than the Alpena. Well you would have thought World War III broke out in the Chat. South had sided with me, thinking the Challenger was a better boat, and ssliwka, Frenchy1004, and Manistee were all on the opposing side, thinking the Alpena was better. MikefromIndy stayed neutral in this event, although I know he would have sided with me. Well we were all thinking of every little quirk about the other boat that we didn't like, when all of a sudden a couple people left, including me to go change our screen names. I came back with ChallengerRules, and here came along the BoatNazi, and AlpenaRules, and Mike from Sweden(then he went and changed his name again to SwissMike because he figured out Switzerland was the neutral country) Well to make a long story short, Frenchy ended up leaving and telling us if and when we started to act mature again, to email him. Well we all stopped and thought about it, and we went back to change our screen names, back to the originals. But, the matter was never settled... WHICH BOAT IS BETTER?
