New World Order

Firstly, can I start by making a few things clear, I am not any of the following:

Nazi / Fascist
Christian fundamentalist
Millennium Survivalist
Conspiracy theorist
'Gun junky' ( see Nazi )
Alien Abductee
Bloody weirdo!

OK, now that we've got that sorted then I'll carry on with my little piece about the so-called 'New World Order'. Now, as I have said before, this is MY site with MY views on it, I do NOT represent any organisation or group, just plain old me. Every now and again, I like to type in those three words into a search engine and see what comes up. Generally I get quite a mixed batch of inane paranoid web-sites written by people maintaining that they are NOT fascists but have policies and beliefs that are certainly of the Christian far-right! However, the initial idea of the 'NWO' is of immense interest to me as it is part of our ever increasing branch of 'urban legends' ( as well as 'alien abduction' etc. ) and is therefore, in my opinion, classified as a contemporary cultural phenomenon. There appears to be two schools of thought regarding the NWO, these being;

A sincere, if paranoid, distrust of organised government and the fear of losing individual freedom. Quite a healthy objective argument. Not exactly anarchist material but some well thought out beliefs. Never trust a politician!

Mad as fuck Christian fundamentalist who go on about Aliens being the spawn of Satan and the UN being under the influence of ZOG ( Zionist Occupational Government ). Woah! These guys are seriously into the Old Testament in a big way, yet would probably shoot the nearest Jew they could see. Closely linked to militia groups, even to the KKK. Mad but interesting with it, fun to read their rants and how complicated their theories are. Anti-Christ Superstar here we come!

Regarding the former rank, there are several key theories behind the NWO but mainly it appears as if it is a large, multi-national corporate entity with several inter-linked agendas:

propagandistic
