The Card Game

Take a deck of card keep enough cards so everyone has 5 cards/ start with 1 joker, then go to king, queen, jack etc.
5 guests=1 Joker, all kings, all queens, all jacks, all 10's, all 9's, and all 8's 6 guests add all 7's and a six.... 7 guests add all 6's and two 5's... 8 guests add all 5's and three 4's 9 guests add all 4's and 3's... 10 guests add all 2's and one Ace... more than 10 guests use all cards and adjust the amount of cards given.
Then at my shows, I have everyone ask me two questions, 1 about my job and 1 about my product and for this they will get 5 cards. After all questions have been asked,I go to line #2 on the door prize slip and have them pick out their favourite item that is under $25 then I tell them if they book a show within 3 weeks ( sales must be $300.00) They will receive their favourite item for the price of the lowest card in their hand and whoever has the joker will receive a romance enhancer for free!. or they may trade any card for $10 off a higher priced garment. EXAMPLE: I have the joker and an ace, If I book and hold a $300 show AND Lace Embrace ($23.95) IS MY FAVORITE, I GET THAT FOR $1, PLUS A free romance enhancer!! Lucky me!!..

Variation on the card game

Take a deck of cards keep, 1 Joker, 1 Ten, All 9-5, 1-4 and 1-2, Then at my shows I have everyone ask me two questions, 1 about my job and 1 about my product and for this they will get 5 cards after all questions have been asked, I go to line #2 on the door prize slip and have them pick out their favourite item that is under $25.00, then I tell them if they book an in- home demo( sales must be $250.OO) they will receive their favourite item for the price of the lowest card in their hand and however has the joker may also receive a 3-wick AT 50% off. EXAMPLE: I have the 10 ,which is zero!! and the joker, If I book and hold a $250 show and The Illusions is my favourite, I get that for free plus a 3 wick at 50% off, This may cost you some but you will get 3 bookings a show. and to present this I make sure line 2 is filled and then ask line 3 to book and put rate this on a 1-3 basis; Put a 1 if you never want me in your home and hate getting free productsPut a 2 if you want me to come over and help you get free products put a 3 if I can bribe you!! Everyone laughs and then explain the card game. Change any part you don't like, $$4 AMOUNT COULD BE $25-$20.!

In a Jam!

This can be fun, get you out of a jam and turns up new ideas. For years I have always been in a hurry and many times go to shows/parties when I really have not had time to get my act together. So, when I have gotten in some new things - I take them just like I received them(boxes still sealed) - let the guest help me take them in - they get to hold what they take in until we get started - then I have a box opener which I pass around - then each person takes whatever is in her box out - tells her name, says something about the piece she just pulled out of the box and either she can tell what she would do with it in her home or ask another guest what she would do with it. Then when all have opened and introduced I ask them to play fruit basket turn over and sit beside someone that has something that goes with their item. They have lots of fun doing this. Then I tell them I really always am searching for new ideas so I let them place it where they feel it would look good on my display. They have done the party, had lots of fun and everyone including myself got lots of new ideas. Anyone who comes up and places her item can change anything she wants on the display. You find those who love the merchandise and are really into handling everything. This may not be what everyone would consider a GAME, but they never know that this was not the way I had planned all the time. I did this the first time about 20 years ago when something happened at the last minute and I did not have time to get it together and they loved it so much, I continued to do it on purpose when I had cleared lots of things out and had several new items to show.
