More Games!!

Foot in the Bag

You have several grocery bags filled with all kinds of weird stuff....cotton balls, balloons (not blown up), etc.
You then have the bags numbered with big black marker 1-15....
You then tell them to remove their right shoe....without looking, they have to feel the item with their foot!!!

Balloon Game

Take your lower priced items, cut up 3x5 cards into 4's and write one of those items on the card do this for about 20 or so balloons. Then roll up the cut-up cards and place them inside the balloons then blow them up before the party. Make one special balloon just for your host/hostess ( put a more expensive gift inside) put ribbon or stickers just something to make that balloon different. When guests start to show up give them a balloon, after everyone has arrivived to the party, give your host/hostess the special balloon and tell everyone that the balloon is theirs for the evening and that there is a FREE gift inside for everyone. BUT be sure not to tell them untill after your demo, best is when you are doing your doorprize slip where you might have a question about becoming a host/hostess ( the guests).
I ususally will say if Shelly (hostess) gets 3/4 bookings tonight ( depending on the number of people are at the party) she will be able to pop her balloon and get a gift that has a value of $30/$40 dollars. Now you have the hostess helping you and most of all herself trying to get the bookings. Now just remember ladies/gents each and everyone of you have a FREE gift inside your balloons and if you are interested in booking a party to help Shelly you may now pop your balloon to see what you have just won. I do not give them the FREE gift untill we closeout their own show and the original. hostess (Shelly) does not get her FREE gift untill all the bookings from her party are all held. I will place the order on the last of her bookings.

Holiday Games

First Ladies Quiz

Give the guests the first names of First Ladies and then have them guess which President they are/were married to.

There are many reference books for this.
For a presentation demo - try highlighting your red white and blue items

Independence Day

Here is a way to hook recruits

Have the people tell you in a sentence or two or three - what independence means to them. Of course, here is where yuo insert how your sales career has or is making you independent.

A good tag line could be: Call me..or call me the next time you hate your job.

Fourth of July theme

To celebrate the season, the theme is outdoor/travel fun and I am planning to have a "blast!" I am using my toilet paper tubes and wrapping paper tubes to create firecrackers. They are easy to do: Cut the tubes just larger than a business card. Tuck your business card sized prize (free shipping, $1.00 off your order, You host a party and I'll bring a snack, etc.) inside the tube. Fill with confetti (only if outdoor party...) Wrap it up with tissue paper (three layers works well) and secure at the top with thread or pliable wire (floral wire or pipe cleaner works great!) To create the dynomite look, stick a pipe cleaner in the end, poking out like a wick and fray the ends of the tissue paper. Another option is the have a couple wires poking out and attach star stickers back to back at the tip of the wires. This is what I plan to do. You could do this to both ends as well. Then, you award the prizes throughout your party like you otherwise would. For the 4th of July look, I am using red, white and blue tissue and shiny stars. I'll let you know in a couple weeks how it goes! If anyone tries this, please let me know what you think!

Toy Bingo Demo

Bring Demo toys, a gift for the winner(s), Toy Bingo cards, skills labels

Before guests arrive: attach the skills labels to the demo toys

As guests arrive: Give them each a catalog and a Toy Bingo card. Each card is divided into 16 squares - four rows representing each Discovery Toys age category and four columns for toys in each of those categories. Set some type of time limit, usually 10-20 minutes for the guests to look through the catalog and pick four toys from each age group that they like and write them in the squares on the card.

To begin: Demo the toys. As you are showing the toys, the guests will "x" out that toy if they have written it on their card. The first person to get "BINGO" wins!

**Of course, take note of those items that are in the new recruits demo kits and especially invite anyone who wrote the majority of them down to consider joining you in the business. **

BELOW THE KNEE

Have the ladies take off one shoe and sock. Blindfold one of the men. Have him go down the line of ladies and touching only below the knee have him pick out HIS lady. It's hilarious! After the next guy is blindfolded, the ladies all change places in the line. The winners could get 10% off their order or something.

Here's the Candy Game!

The idea with this is to read the story to everyone and have them tally how many types of candy they hear. Chance are they will be laughing too hard to catch them all. You could award a prize to the person who heard the most, or give them 2 minutes to jot down all the ones they can think of and award a prize to the highest scorer. Now on to the game:

X-RATED CANDY GAME

It was another Payday, and I was tired of being a Mr. Goodbar. So I saw Miss Hershey standing behind the Powerhouse on the corner of Clark and FifthAvenue, and I whipped out my Whopper and whispered, "Hey Sweetart, how'd you like to Krunch on my Big Hunk for a Hundred Thousand Dollar Bar?" Well, she immediately went down on my Tootsie Roll, and Uno, it was like pure Almond Joy. I couldn't help but grab her delicious Mounds 'cause it was easy to see this little Twix had the Red Hots. It was all I could do to hold back a Snicker and a Krackle as my Butterfinger went up her tight little Kit Kat and she started to scream: "Oh Henry, Oh Henry!" Soon she was fondling my Peter Paul and Zagnuts and I knew it wouldn't be long before I blew my Milkduds clear to Mars and gave her taste of the old Milky Way. She asked if I was into M & M but I said, "Hey Chicklet, no kinky stuff" -- and then I said, "Look, you little Reese's Pieces! Don't be a Zero, be a Lifesaver. Why don't you just take my Whatchamacallit and slip it up your Bit O'Honey?" (and oh, but, what a piece of Juicyfruit she was, too). She screamed, "Oh Crackerjack, you're better than the Three Musketeers!" as I rammed my Ding Dong up her Rocky Road and into her Peanut Butter Cup. Well, I was givin' it to her Good 'n' Plenty when, all of a sudden......my Starburst. As luck would have it, she started to grow a bit Chunky and complained of a Wrigley in her stomach. Sure enough, nine months later, Out popped a Baby Ruth.

At the itro. of your party/show give everyone a pc. of plain paper to make 1 or 2 very large tic tac toe boards. Tell them they are gonna use this as a wish list/ Game! As you do your demo and talk about your wonderful products have your guests write down in the squares of the tic tac toe board their wish list items! No if they fill up the first one, then they have to turn their paper over and start on the next board. If they fill both of them up then they start adding to the first one all over again(more chances for them to "X" it out)! After your demo, you ramdonly call out product and your guests "X" out their items you call... The first person to get a tic tac toe wins a small prize, Then the first person to "X" out a whole tic tac toe board wins the grand prize and have them yell out also! Now what do they yell, well if your doing candles... Have them yell I Love Candles... If you do pampered chef.... Have them yell out I Love cooking! Now this keeps your guests attention, you can see what they want, and you are having fun doing it! You will increase your sales, bookings all because of this simple wish list!

HANDBAG TREASURER HUNT GAME (posted 3/1999)

I have had a lot of people ask me about the handbag treasure hunt game. I can't believe some people have never heard of it! I remember my mom in her Tupperware days playing this all the time when she went to hows. It is as follows:

The handbag treasure hunt is you have everyone grab there purse. You then tell them that you will give them a ticket for each item that you call. But the trick is they have to be the first person to show you in order to get the ticket. You just go through a list and this is what I ask for:

a $1.00 bill (this has to be a dollar bill)
a penny (this has to be a penny)
a checkbook
a credit card
(I ask all this cuz they have to pay for their orders right?)
a pen
lipstick (has to be lipstick)
chapstick
a brush
a comb
a pic
a maxi pad
a tampon
a picture of their child
a picture of a child that does not belong to you (this helps with people who don't have children)
car keys
some type of pain reliever
something that does not belong to you (if your a mom you know what I mean)
of course with the company I'm with I do ask for condoms and other means of birth control but I do that before the list of other stuff. and the list goes on.....

You can add more or less but then I tell them when I'm done, that they are done with their purses but I have a question for them and it's worth oh let's say 12 tickets. This does not have to be the first person, it can be as many of you as their are but who is planning on booking a show before seeing the presentation then I have them flip their game over and read the hostess plan.
