Prussian Artillery, 1813-5

The Prussian artillery of the wars of liberation were superbly equipped and trained, but after Napoleon's abdication in 1814 the artillery was shrunk in size.  When Napoleon returned, many recruits were sent into combat with minimal training, and the artillery's performance during the Waterloo campaign was mixed.

HaT Industries makes a Prussian artillery set that can be used straight from the box.  It has four gun carriages, 24 gunners in six poses, and twelve gun barrels (6-lbr, howitzer, and 12-pdr).

This is a very nice set.  The figures are properly uniformed for the foot artillery, and can be used as horse artillery with only a slight bit of fudging.  Poses are very nice.  The raised folds in the uniforms particularly lend these figures to drybrushing.
