Pokémon Card: Well, we have everything now, right? The only thing we don't have is a way to play the card game on your Gameboy. Well, with Pokémon Card, you can. You can battle and trade like in the card game, and you can use Gameboy Color's infared system to link two Gameboy color systems. This is a Gameboy Color game, and has not been announced for release in the US yet. Click here to see some pictures.

Pokémon Yellow: A new game for Game Boy. This game has been announced by Nintendo of America, and is set to come out on the 6th of September, 1999. This game is just like Red and Blue, but you start out with Pikachu, but he won't get in his Pokéball! That means he will follow you around everywhere. You can also check to see how he is feeling. There might also be an option to print out stuff from your Pokédex if you have Gameboy Printer. They might have Pokémon over #150 in this game. They definatly have Jesse and James in this game, and Pokémon learn different attacks at different levels. Also, I have heard you cannot get a Vulpix or a Raichu in this game. You cannot evolve Pikachu. Also, this game isn't in color.

Pokémon Pinball: This Gameboy Color game is coming out June 28th 1999. The object of the game is to catch all 150 Pokémon using a Pokéball that you slap around the screen. It will be really cool, and... it uses a Rumble Pack! The Rumble Pack will be attached to the cartridge itself (the cartridge will come with a rumble pack attached). For more information, go here: Pokémon Pinball

Pokémon Gold and Silver: This game has been announced to be coming to America. There is no release date, but it will probably come out in the year 2000 some time. Some features in the game are: There are over or about 250 Pokémon, there are male/female versions of all Pokémon so you can breed them and lay eggs. Also, there is a clock, and some Pokémon will only fight in the day, or only at night (including your own Pokémon!) So you need two teams depending on the time of day! This is a new adventure, and isn't another copy of Pokémon Red or Blue. This is a Gameboy Color game.Pokémon Gold and Silver Pics

Pokémon Platinum: Some people said that Pokémon Platinum will be coming out. So far there is no truth at all to this rumour.

Pokémon Snap: In this Nintendo 64 game, you are Ash, and your job is to take pictures of Pokémon on Pokémon Island. This game is supposed to come out on July 26th, 1999. For more information, go to: Pokémon Snap

Pokémon Stadium: In this Nintendo 64 game, you can fight against your friends using your own Pokémon from the Gameboy game. There will be a special device for transfering your Pokémon from the Gameboy Cartridge to the N64 game. If you don't have the gameboy game, you can raise one of the 150 Pokémon that comes with Pokémon Stadium. There are also many mini-games and the ability to play your Pokémon gameboy game on your N64. Actually, the game we are getting is the same as Pokémon Stadium #2 in Japan. Pokémon Stadium 1 only came with 40 Pokémon, instead of 150, so the released a seond one eventually, which is what we are getting here in America. Pikachu Genki De Chu: In Japan, there is a game where you use a microphone instead of a control. You tell Pikachu what to do, and he will do it. It sounds pretty cool. Unfortunatly, it hasn't been announced for American release yet. Pictures/Movies

THE SHOW:

Television: In case you were wondering, the episode "The Breeding Center Secret" was the season finale. It was the season finale for season 1, not season 2. Season 2 should be starting around August and this time, the new episode may be on 6 days a week and have 52 new episodes.

Movies: In Japan, two Pokémon movies have came out. Pikachu's Summer Vacation and Mewtwo Strikes back. From what I have heard, the people who bring Pokémon the US are working for the rights to show Mewtwo Strikes back in theatres in America. I am unsure about Pikachu's Summer Vacation. We better hope it comes out here. Also, another movie, Pokémon X has been shown in Japan. It is about the mystical birds. So far, I have no information about wheater or not this will be coming to the US, but it most likely it will. For more information, go to Pictures, Information, Movie Clips

THE CARD GAME:

Wizards of the Coast have introduced a new card game, Pokémon! It has done very well in Japan, and has been selling pretty quickly here. It has been selling do good, you will be lucky if you can get your hands on these cards! It's the #1 card game, and it is more popular then Magic: The Gathering, according to the latest Scrye magazine.

In Japan they have 4 expansions already. They have a Jungle set, Fossil set, Team Rocket set, and Gym set. So far, only the Fossil and Jungle sets have been announced for American release.
