Episode Reviews

"Maximum Hommerdrive" (Sunday February 28)
I liked this weeks episode except for one thing; Doesn't it seem like all Homer is ever doing this season is either getting a new job (trucker, grease man) or traveling somewhere (superbowl, trucker)? I mean, come on! Make an original episode! We deserve atleast that for the last season ever (probably). And that's another thing; Futurama sucked. Why would Matt Groening quit an awesome show like The Simpsons to go do a sucky show like Fururama? I gave last weeks episode a 5+.

***Note- I haven't reviewed the last couple weeks because the last few episodes have been reruns, Matt Groening was working on his new cartoon series "Futurama".

"Make Room For Lisa" (Sunday February 28)
This was an average episode of The Simpsons and kinda disappointing since they've had such a great season. It was another one of those stories in which Lisa and Homer realize how differant they are, start to grow apart, but by the end learn to accept each other's uniqueness. Few sections were laugh-out-loud funny but it was still o.k. I give this episode a 7-.

"?" (Sunday February 6)
I didn't catch last weeks episode because we got a flat tire on the way home from a camping trip... sorry.

"Sunday Cruddy Sunday" (Sunday, January 31)
This was a big improvement from last weeks episode. The whole cracker-tickets thing and the gang's pathetic attempt to sneak into the Superbowl was histarical. I loved the plot and the jokes were awesome. I give this episode a 10-.

"Lard of the Dance" (Sunday, January 24)
This episode was nothing like last weeks episode. I seemed more like a drama then a comedy. So the new girl at school stole all of Lisa's friends. That's a preety good plot, except for one thing... Lisa has no friends! The only high-point of this episode was the scene where homer and Bart were trying to steal all of Willy's grease. I give this episode a 6-.

"Wild Barts Can't Be Broken" (Sunday, January 17)
This episode was excellant. After a dissapointment last week, I think the The Simpsons have redeamed themselves. I was laughing non-stop. The high part was when Homer, Lenny, Karl, and Barney got drunk and trashed Springfield after the Isotopes won the championship game. Homer's line to bart and Lisa "Hey kids, the carnivals in town for one night only and theirs no lines because all the stupid, punk kids have a curfew!" was drop-dead hilarious. I give this episode a 9+!
