Vivian Bernice Strong - 1901-1992

Vivian Bernice (Strong)Wimmer and Carl Wimmer

Vivian Bernice Strong, daughter of Charles and Hortense Elizabeth(Delsol) Strong, was born on October 15, 1901 in Lewiston, Nez Perce, Idaho. She married Carl Wimmer, a saw filer, on July 23, 1917. Vivian married young, I can remember her telling me that, after she got married, all the neighborhood kids would come to the door to see if she could come out and play! Vivian and Carl were the parents of three children: Bonita Jean, born July 9, 1923, Beverly Ann, born August 6, 1928, and Arthur Leroy, born March 5, 1932. Vivian lived in Phoenix, Arizona, Klamath Falls, Oregon, and Oroville, California. She died August 15, 1992, in Flagstaff, Arizona during a trip to visit her son, Arthur. She is buried in Cottonwood, Arizona. She is greatly missed.
