Charles Arthur Ellis Strong, son of Silas and Hannah Strong, was born September 20, 1865, in Cardington, Morrow County, Ohio. Charles was a builder and architect. He married Hortense Elizabeth Delsol, daughter of Justin and Anna (Gardene) Delsol, born June 20, 1872, on September 10, 1898 in Lewiston, Idaho. Charles and Hortense were the parents of three children: Arthur Leroy, Vivian Bernice, and Thelma Louise. Charles died on September 9, 1935 in Lewiston, Idaho.
