Spar Methods
There are Two different forms of Sparring we have developed to take in the way the One Power affects combat.. you are allowed to use normal spar methods for this but these were develloped to add depth to the world of WoT
1. Comabat with Saidin and Saidar
When you battle using the One Power you use two dice that i shall give to you one is the normal guild dice that you would normally use in combt in a different guild the other is your strength in the One Power that dice is based off were women without Angrel or Sa'Angreal's additional benfits they top off at 4d100 now many wont reach nearly that most would need a Angreal just to reach that level...Men on the other hand top off at 6d100 though same as women most wont come near that sept a rare few such as the M'hael and The Lord Dragon... When someone attacks another that uses the One Power they first roll the dice for their strength in that the opponent then attmepts to slice the weave sent against them by rolling their One Power strength at a -10 to what they roll...If the attackers roll was higher that means that the weave was successful and hit so they then roll their other dice for the damage if the roll is unsuccessful then the attack is stoped and the opponet then attacks back..
2. Shielding
This form of combat is to attempt to block the other from the One Power as most should have figured already...The combat in this is a struggle involving strength in the One Power only thus only that dice is used its damage is similar to that of normal sparring the victor shields the other then to be relased from it they must move out of sight making the other tie the flows off or follow them but it is simple to grab them with air and requires no dice rolling the inability to use the One Power makes it that the shielded one can not do anything about it...If the attempt to shield is made when the other is unaware or not holding the One Power then the next round their attack gets a -10 to the roll...
I dont vary Xp's by the method you use though i may hand out bounuses to those who use these methods instead of normal spar methods...If you have a idea on who to make this systme work better feel free to tell me about it........
