is an assertive, committed organization that seeks no monetary profit in achieving its primary purpose to help individuals who earnestly desire to disassociate from gang involvement.

e aim to help criminals and gang members who want to disassociate from gang involvement and criminal activities by offering them an alternative lifestyle free of violence and any other forms of illegal activities through our principles of recover from destructive addictions.D
riven by our fundamental purpose, we embrace all that are motivated to abandon the tragic effects of gang activity. We recognize that gang involvement is interwoven into many other compulsive, addictive habits. Many are forms of chemical dependence, others are forms of co-dependency.O
ur goal is to assist gang members in identifying the magnetic power of gang manipulation that triggers irresistible actions that have negative results.
Our Recovery Family
CGA
is mainly composed of, but not only of ex-gang members, recovering from a destructive lifestyle. We are addicted to a destructive behaviors and lifestyle, including to alcohol and drugs. We have first hand experience -- and know the end result of gang activity and destructive behavior is incarceration, physical impairment, or death.T
here are no professional roles in our fellowships. We are merely individuals who have lived the lifestyle, survived by the grace of a power greater than ourselves, and are here to share the experience we know best -- to help others who are doing what we did, find a better way of living.W
e hope we can aid gang members dissociate from the grip of hostility and help restore their communities instead of destroying them.

Those who are responsible for facilitating our fellowship meetings and explain the methods of CGA's recovery process are only trusted servants. These individuals are selected by a group conscience to serve in specific capacities. They genuinely care and have experience with our principles and traditions.For
