I hope that you'll enjoy it! My name is Iva Alves and I am from Brazil. I enjoy living in San Francisco because it gives me the opportunity to meet new friends that have different points of view regarding music, movies, life and etc. Characteristics of people that I enjoy meeting are: Funny, great sense of humor, people that know what they want from life and who keep their word. But most of all I like being around people that are honest.

I was born in Minas Gerais, Brazil.  Minas Gerais, a city located north of Rio De Janerio, its a beautiful city that also happens to be the biggest state in Brazil. I moved to the Bay Area to live with my sister, the rest of my family: Father, Mother, three sisters and two brothers remain in Brazil.

Since I moved to the USA, I wanted to go back to school to persue a college education. Currently, I am attending San Francisco City College working a certificate in Networking-telecommunications. I like city college, even though it is very different from home, because it challenges me and has helped me make a lot of new friends.

Yes,it's true Brazilians love to have fun ..

We love to dance, we love to eat that includes wineing and dinning, and checking out the night scene. A great reflection of the fun loving people that we are is our carnaval which takes place every February through out brazil; the most famous being in Rio De Janerio. We are also are very passonate about futebol. futebol or Soccer is the most famous sport in Brazil and in the world

My other interest and Hobbies

My family is the most important thing in my life. I would have to say my nephew and niece's, that still live back in Brazil, are my pride and joy. I miss them very much.

I also love to Travel.....

When I have time to take a break, I love to travel to places I never been to before.
