who killed and maimed thousands. In memory of the valiant heroes and survivors
who have and will persevere.
Promoting Equality, Security and Opportunity for all, especially the blind of
the world. It is, you see, acceptable to be blind. It is not a horrific malady
or life-ending tragedy. Blindness is merely a characteristic, like being male,
or blue-eyed. It is a nuisance, to be sure, but little more to the educated,
trained and well-adjusted blind person with a will to succeed and even excel.
