WOW!!! What a day for a race!! It was 90+ degrees off the track and I couldn't even imagine what it was like on the track. Even with the sun baking everyone to a crisp these determined athletes still went above and beyond to entertain us.
Team Wildchild didn't have a great race day. Manny is gone on vacation so car 22 stayed home in the shade...... lucky car.
Donnies car was not up to par today, car 21 had mechanical troubles in the first heat and was out for the day.
Larrys car 21L, after a great show last night in Sigourney didn't make it for todays race due to mechanical problems as well...
Attention today goes to car 33, belonging to Tiny Sellers.... All though it wasn't Tiny, nor his number on the side of the car today. 34Z showed the fans just what this car was made of.... great racing... He won the A-main. I personally look forward to watching Tiny back in his car next week (hopefully)
Usually I take a little time to talk about roll overs and mis haps... But guess what? We had none of those today. Even though the track was wet in the beginning, and a little bumpy towards the end, everyone was able to stay on all 4 wheels.. Well except for 22X. He decided to take the corner on 2 wheels in the A-main.... great recovery 22X.
