Welcome To My Wild World!!
This page is dedicated to my Grandparents for showing me the wonderful things nature can bring us. Also to my Parents. Who made sure we got to experience it every weekend.
Thanks Mom and Dad!!

As I sit here by the fire.
The sounds of frogs, toads, and lapping water.
I remember a time not so long ago.
A time of many cousins fishing, swimming and romping in the woods.
Grabbing handfuls of cookies from Grandma's cookie jar to eat on our adventures.
Leaving our special treasures of rocks and wildflowers on the counter.
The 3 honks of the horn that meant come back NOW, time to go.
I don't ever remember going home clean.
Grandpa teaching us to mushroom hunt, fish and make maple syrup just a few.
Grandma always pretending she had been to busy to churn butter so I could do it when I got there.
Making cheese side by side.
The wealth of knowledge they both shared with us is staggering.
They are gone now but the knowledge they gave us about nature and the respect it deserves lives on in each of us.
As I sit here by the fire I swear I can almost hear us laughing again.
And then I realize it is my sons and their cousins,
continuing to enjoy what God and my Grandparents provided for us.
What lucky people we are!!!

The family pond my Grandpa built in 1963.
Will replace this photo when trees leaf out.
