In 2000, 29-year-old Annette Nielsen, an MMSC Radiology Tech, lost her battle with breast cancer. Many community members were touched by her battle and saddened by her death. They pledged to keep her memory alive by continuing the fight against breast cancer.

Each year, on the third Sunday of August, the MMSC Diagnostic Imaging department and the MMSC foundation host a golf tournament in memory of Annette Nielsen. Every year a breast cancer survivor from the community is chosen as the recipient of the memorial tournament. The proceeds are used to help with the cost of their continued cancer treatment.

This year's tournament will be held August 22nd. 4-person best shot. Cost is $45/person; $180/team. Lunch will be provided. There will also be TONS of great prizes to raffle off!
