Lisa Bowerman's first appearance on DOCTOR WHO was as Kaara, the Cheetaperson who befriends Ace in the very last story of the series SURVIVAL. She talked about just how hot things were filming outside in the middle of summer with the rubber and fur of the Cheeta costume. One actress didn't make it through the entire shoot and freaked out one hot afternoon. She tore the costume off and ran stark naked into the forrest screaming with fear and frustration. She did not return to the set. Her second part in DOCTOR WHO is as the voice of Benny in the Bernice Summerfield audio adventures. She was very excited to work with Nicholas Courtney, as the voice of Woolsey the cat, in OH NO, IT ISN'T by Paul Cornell.
