German Carriers

This section REALLY shouldn't be here since Germany never had a carrier that saw action or even completed. However, I think that we should add a couple of Germany's attempts at carriers. The Graf Zeppelin was the one that was closest to completion. There was a sister ship, named the Peter Strasser, that was scrapped in 1940 due to the needed resources. The Germans were also working on a cruiser that would be converted to a carrier, called the Seydlitz, which has just been added, and since it was finished as a cruiser, it is also under the cruiser page. The Graf Zeppelin wasn't quite finished, but was the best they had. It was also based on a 1935 visit by a German committee to Japan to visit the construction of the Akagi (modernization actually, visit the Imperial Japanese Navy page to find out more about the Akagi). Check in later, and maybe I will do a couple of others.
