This is a personal favorite of our family and a treat to get because we very seldom have any leftover cake or cookies to make this! This recipe was created by my mother and is now passed on to the rest of our family.
Take leftover cake, cookies, etc. and crumble into mixing bowl. Add milk to soften crumbs. Add eggs; mix well. Add baking powder, salt and cocoa. Add more milk if needed to make a smooth cake batter. Raisins or coconut can be added if desired. Pour into a greased 9 x 9 cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-35 minutes. This will be a heavy cake but very moist. Serve warm or cool but definitely with whip cream. MMMMMMMMM good! Serves 9.
