Excellent Pumpkin Bread

3 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. oil
1 tsp. Kitchen-Klatter butter flavoring
2 c. pumpkin
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
2 tsp. soda
2/3 c. water
1/2 tsp. Kitchen-Klatter burnt sugar flavoring
1/2 tsp. Kitchen-Klatter orange flavoring
1 c. nuts

Cream sugar, eggs, oil and butter flavoring. Add pumpkin. Sift dry ingredients together. Blend water and burnt sugar and orange flavorings and stir in alternately with dry ingredients. Add nuts. Bake in greased and floured pans filled 2/3 full. Bake at 350 degrees until done. (About 45 minutes in loaf pan.) Makes four 7x3x2 inch pans.

After baking, remove from pans and cool on racks. Serve warm with butter or cheese spread. Cool and wrap for freezer storage.

My hints for this recipe; if you can't find Kitchen-Klatter flavorings use the brand that you have available. I personally omit the burnt sugar and orange flavorings. I also use fresh pumpkin in mine. Tastes fantastic!!! I also use larger bread pans and makes 2-3 loaves for me; one to eat now..and some to freeze for later.
