The stock engine in a 1992 Prelude Si is a 2.3L 16valve DOHC aluminim block engine with 160HP and 156 lbs/ft of torque. It has a dual stage intake manifold, meaning that it has two sets of intake runners. Longer narrower runners for low RPM and shorter fatter ones for high RPM. The powerband is one of the best of any Honda engine. The power is well distributed throughout the RPM range up the the redline at 6600 RPM.
