Mailing Lists
I have created 3 mailing lists for you all to join. In order to become a keeper, you need to join the Nsyncaholics & Keepers mailing list.
Ok, there are somethings to know before you join this list. This is a group of very funny girls. Let me tell you they have me rolling all of the time. We tend to be a bit sarcastic, and like to have a good time. If you hear someone making a joke about one of the guys, it's all in fun. Everyone on here is a huge Nsync fan. Why would they be here if they weren't? Please don't take everything they say literally. If you have a problem with something someone has said, please take it up with them in private and tell me about it so I know what is going on. This group is pretty tight, and when someone starts bashing, the whole group gets in an uproar. It's one of the best groups to hang with though because of this reason, someone has got your back big time, if you have theirs. Because of a few problems that we have had recently on the list, I have had to much to my regret come up with a set of rules.
1) No straight out Bashing of Nsync (this is not the same as joking...this is getting on the list, when you aren't a fan, and telling us how much you hate them and how stupid they are..which by the way is a stupid move to make on an nsync mailing list....ya think? just maybe.)
2) No bashing on fellow list members. Like I said, if you have a problem, privatly email that person and me and we will get it straightened out, hopefully with everyones feelings and pride in tact. If you start a fight on the list, there's going to be a problem. Straight up, that's how it is. I deal with the one who started it. I figure, if someone slams on you, your going to defend yourself, I would, so I'm not going to punish someone for standing up for themselves.
3) You have a right to your opinion. You say toe-may-toe, I say toe-mah-toe (actually, I say toe-may-toe too, but it's all good. *L*). The world would suck if we were all alike. This is basicly a break off of #2. If you disagree with what someone has said, hey, say it. We're all for free speech and discussions around here, just not like in a rude way. Have some common sense when it comes to it, you know the difference between a conversation and an out and out war starter.
4) Please don't use too many oneliners. I know, I know, it's so easy...but not everyone has time to go through emails that say heehee, or I know...and that is it. Try to put a little bit more there. Make it a 2 liner. *L* Cuts back on having 200 emails a day to get through, and there are some people *gasp* I know, who get a little cranky when there are lots of these. *L*
5) Have fun. Please! In fact, I demand it! Ok, you don't have to, but it would be much more enjoyable if you did! *L*
Ok, here is the other negative part. What happens when rules are broken:
It's the 3 strikes and your out sort of thing.
1st time: warning
2nd time: you alone go on moderation where Debs or I will approve the messages going to the list.
3rd time: your banned, no ifs ands or buts.
I'm such a downer. *L* Actually, the list rarely ever fights, you can look back in the archives, there have been like 2 or 3 in over a year, but we are now trying to prevent these, since the last one got a little bit ugly. Please don't let the above nastiness stop you from joining us and having a good ol' time!
