Mission
The Technology Center's Research and Development group engages in research
and software development designed to maintain PBD's leadership in delivery
of Professional services. The goal of the Research and Development group
is to understand and create novel advanced technologies with significant
implications for PBD's business over the next two to five years. The group
conducts applied research on a variety of emerging technology areas in the
service of business needs, and partners with other research labs and
vendors. Research and Development has created several systems that are in
daily use by PBD professionals around the world, and was recently granted
two U.S. patents for technologies it created (several others are pending).
In addition, the group's work is often published in leading technical
conferences and journals.
