Lives and Loves

Ken

People, meet Ken. This is my man. We met through a singles thing on the internet called RSVP in August 1998. We happened to be in the UK at the same time, in October/November, but he was too sick for us to meet up. So, we chatted on the phone a few times, but that was as far as it went. I returned home in November, he in December, and we continued to chat on the phone and in ICQ. We finally met on 4th February 1999, when we went to the beach together. And the rest is history, I guess. *BG* And I haven't stopped smiling since. *smooches & huggles*

Helen

If you can see beyond my big boof head, this is my best friend, Helen. We've been best friends since 25th October 1989 and she's the best. We were inseperable through high school, like sisters. We didn't see each other as much as we would have liked while we were at uni, but then she moved in with me and my fiance at the time in 1996. She recently got married to a fabulous guy named Tim - the first one of our group to actually go through with it. I see them every now and again, and we swap emails all the time, which is great.

Emma

My Pommie friend. We went to high school together and she moved to the UK about a year after high school finished. I stayed with her for a couple of weeks while I was in England last year and it was great fun. We're a lot closer than when we were in high school and I hope that we can see each other again soon. Since she just bought a house over there, I don't know when that will be. Soon, I hope. Our thoughts are with you.

Leigh & Karen

Mel

- The original Dirty Old Man, though one that you can actually trust. Someone else with the same sense of humour as me and he really knows how to give me a run for my money in the innuendo stakes. My teddy bear.

Nigel

- A sweetie who is another of my teddy bears. He has the craziest, most infectious laugh, that whenever you hear it, you can't help but laugh along with him. Always smiling, always having fun.

Glenn & Ryll

- A gorgeous couple, who got married on 4th September 1999. Ryll is Ken's cousin and Glenn is Ken's best friend, and I love them both. From the day that I met them, I couldm't believe how well I got along with them. We clicked, if you like.

Ian

- Currently living at Ken's place, he was there the night that Ken and I went to the beach - was he our chaperone? A nice guy who needs a nice girl to keep him happy. Any takers?

Tim

- The Potsie ("Happy Days") look-alike. He loves to have a laugh too, especially after a few beers and some port. *wink* A guy who likes to watch, but doesn't have the guts to do anything about it. Is there anyone out there who wants to take this single boy by the hand and show him the way?

Drew

- A mad young thing that I've known since uni started in 1994. He was good for the ego. *wink* Now he works as a teacher at a posh school in Bendigo, so I haven't seen him for a while. We talk fairly often though. Another single guy. But beware of Billy!
