Welding Assessment Plan Statement # 4

SLO # 4: welding students will demonstrate competency in written communication skills.

Critical Skill: Written Communications Target Course: WLD 104 Objectives: 1, 2, 3 and 4 

Assessment Measures and Techniques: students will complete the practical applications prescribed for the course. Each student will write a report upon completion of selected assignments. Faculty will evaluate reports using an assessment rubric selected by the program assessment committee.

Assessment Criteria: the average rating of student achievement in each performance category will be 3 or higher on a 4-point scale.
