Welding Assessment Plan Statement # 3

SLO # 3: welding students will demonstrate the proper procedures and applications of shielded metal arc welding.

Practical Applications: SMAW Welding Operations Target Course: WLD 104 Objectives: 1, 2, 3 and 4 

Assessment Measures and Techniques: students will complete the practical applications prescribed for the course. Faculty will evaluate students’ work on selected assignments using an assessment rubric selected by the program assessment committee.

Assessment Criteria: the average rating of student achievement in each performance category will be 3 or higher on a 4-point scale.
