1. Survey faculty to identify courses in which features of technology, such as websites, list servers and use of multimedia presentation systems (for PowerPoint presentations, etc.) could be incorporated.

 

2. Conduct an assessment of the hardware, software, and multimedia presentation needs of various classrooms.

 

3. Track the number of courses in which technology is incorporated in 2010-11 and the number that are actually taught.

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. Each division will identify six courses that could include a technology component.

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. Technology needs will be identified for eight additional classrooms.

Students will demonstrate basic information technology skills.

 

EDU 210 students will utilize the Internet, MS Word and PowerPoint to complete a series of class projects in fall 2010.  Faculty will use an assessment rubric to evaluate students’ performance with each application.

 

The average rating of student achievement with each application will be 5 or higher on a scale of 1-7.
