Assessment Rubric for Classroom Observations - Part 2: Interpretations

Performance Category	Rating = 4	Rating = 3	Rating = 2	Rating = 1	Score
Focus	Information is clearly focused in an organized and thoughtful manner.	Information is focused and organized.	Interpretation has a focus but might stray from it at times.	Interpretation is unfocused and haphazard.
Pattern	Information is constructed in a logical pattern to support the observation.	Information supports the observation in a clear pattern.	Information appears to have a pattern, but the pattern is not reinforced by the observation.	Information has no apparent pattern.
Grammar	Document has no spelling, grammatical, or punctuation errors.	Document has few (1 to 3) spelling, grammatical, or punctuation errors.	Document has minimal (3 to 5) spelling, grammatical, or punctuation errors.	Document has more than 5 spelling, grammatical, or punctuation errors.
