Intended Outcome # 2. Qualified students will display proficiency
in the use of assistive technology to access exams and other educational
materials.
Service:
Assistive Technology Assessment
Focus: Impact on Learning
Assessment Measures and Techniques. Students
will formally demonstrate their ability to use assistive technology in various
computer labs at least three times during 2008-09. Staff will use
an assessment rubric developed by the division assessment committee to evaluate
students’ proficiency in using assistive technology.
Assessment Criteria/Expected Results.
The average rating of student achievement in
each performance category will be 3 or higher on a scale of 1-4.
