Kelley Planning and Educational Services, in cooperation with the University of Puerto Rico at Humacao, invites you to participate in the second annual conference of the Kelley International Conference Series.


KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Dr. Cecilia Lopez, Associate Director, Evaluation Services, North Central Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Institutions of Higher Education

Dr. Lopez holds a Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Learning from Arizona State University. She has published research on multi-cultural education, educational technology and assessment of student academic achievement. She has presented at conferences throughout the United States on many topics, including planning, distance learning, and assessment. The Hispanic Caucus of the American Association of Higher Education recently awarded Dr. Lopez the Alfredo G. de los Santos Jr. Award for Distinguished Leadership in Higher Education.


SPECIAL WORKSHOP PRESENTER

Dr. Jeffrey Seybert, Director of Research, Evaluation and Instructional Development for Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas, will conduct a special in-conference workshop entitled "The Institutional Portfolio: A Performance Based Model for Assessment of General Education." This excellent professional development opportunity, which usually costs between $50 and $100, will be offered for no additional fee over two consecutive 75-minute sessions.


PRESENTATIONS

Presenters from 26 states, Jamaica, Portugal, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and the West Indies are scheduled to make approximately 70 presentations. Session formats include 45-minute paper presentations and 75-minute interactive sessions.

REGISTRATION

The registration fee of $225 will entitle you to the following: binder with conference agenda/program and other information, conference reception on July 15, attendance at all plenary and breakout sessions, and continental breakfast and lunch on July 16, 17 and 18.
