For the 2008-2009 school year, we collected data sets from fall, 2008, spring,
2009, and summer A and B, 2009. These data have an N =
440 in MAC 1105 and N= 180 in MGF 1106.
MGF 1106 was not offered in summer B, 2009. The percentage of correctly answering
all items relative to this learning outcome was 69.2% for MAC 1105. The percentage was 68.52% for MGF 1106 . Line Item breakdown of percentage

Fall, 2009 from outside consultant report.
Faculty professional development will
begin Fall, 2009and will last through Spring, 2010
to address how to promote classroom discourse. TI-Navigator systems will be purchased to
use in the mathematics classroom to aid in classroom discourse. Will begin line item data analysis for
MAT 1033 starting Fall, 2009. |
Student will demonstrate the ability to graphically represent
relations and functions along with the ability to interpret mathematical
models such as formulas, graphs, and tables, and draw inferences from them. |
