Be able to define the size, type, and scope of the landscape operation and describe job titles with corresponding task

Internship performance which includes a log book, written report, and faculty evaluations, and employer evaluation

80% of students will receive a “C” or better on their internship and receive a “would hire” evaluation from the employer

75% received  “C” or better

 

Note: all students receiving a “C” or better also received a “would  hire” by the employer

Unusual student circumstances:

 3 “A’s” and 1  “F” (didn’t return) indicates students learned skills

Plant and/or maintain turf and ornamentals

Be able to  plant turf and ornamental plants properly and/or maintain them to the employers horticulture standards
