SP Goal: 1

1) Students will demonstrate competency of the knowledge, comprehension, dependability, initiative, and cooperativeness necessary to provide high quality education to young children.

 

2) Students will demonstrate an understanding of the challenges facing early childhood educators.

 1.a) Successful completion of the Mid Term and Final Exams in EEC 2949 Early Childhood Education Practicum.

 

1.b) Pre and Post observation record completed by both the student’s placement teacher and instructor.

 

2) Final Project Paper for EEC 2949 Early Childhood Education Practicum.

1.a ) 90% of students will score at least _70%_ on the Mid Term and Final Exams.

 

1.a.2) 100% of students will receive 4 satisfactory observations throughout the practicum

 

1.b ) At least 90% of students will demonstrate improvement on the post observation records compared to the pre observation records.

 

2) 90% of students will score at least 70% on the final project paper.

 

 

 

 

Students taking online courses will demonstrate the mastery of online technologies to supplement the course curriculum and improve understanding and retention of course curriculum.

1) Students’ will demonstrate the ability to use the Internet to find reliable sources for information to complete web activity research projects.

2) Students will demonstrate the ability to insert website links into a word document.

 

Completion of Web Activities in HUN 2410, EEC 2401, and EEC 2300

Student success rate in online courses will increase by at least 10%
