Starting at the north end, 22 and 38 also head south until 22 heads east, regaining its route before it was shifted onto the US 61 bypass. Then 38 is the only highway co-signed until the intersection with IA 92, where 38 ends. Also at that intersection, 92 goes east into Illinois and west with Business 61 to meet 61 proper.
