Stephanie McMahon checked her makeup in a small compact mirror she carried in her purse. She wore her makeup in a very natural look today, and her only touch up was a quick swipe with lip gloss across her lips.
As she did this she mentally reviewed her to-do list for the morning. She had learned long ago to seperate her day into time blocks or else she would feel overwhelmed.
Growing up as a McMahon hadn't been easy. Her dad was never around, he was always on the road with his company. Her mom had tried to be there for her, but she was the CEO of the family company, and that wasn't a 9-5 job.
Stephanie felt that her old brother, Shane, had pretty much played parent to her. She knew that both her parents loved her, and she loved them. There just simply wasn't enough time in the day for her to fit into their schedules all the time.
Shane was the older, overprotective brother and Stepanie doubted he'd ever outgrow that. Stephanie had wanted to be involved with the family business ever since she could remember. Maybe part of her just wanted to be involved in her parents lives more, and the company was their lives.
Her parents had done everything possible to discourage her from putting her life into the business, but here she was, a major player in how the company fuctioned, and she loved it.
She had learned that the best way to be the best of the business was to play with the big boys. She had been in the ring with one of the most popular diva's, Amy Dumas aka Lita, and she had taken major bumps from the big boys.
She had done everything in her life, including playing touch football with the boys to taking ballet lessons. She knew that the only way to succeed at anything in life was to jump in and get your hands dirty.
A knock came at the door and a blonde head peeked into the room. "Hey Trish, what's up?" Steph asked. "I just wanted to see if you wanted to grab some breakfast." Trish asked, walking fully into the room.
"Oh, I really can't. I have six things to do before lunch and I need to check on about a million things before the payperview tonight." Stephanie smiled apologetically.

I can run as fast as the boys
I can sing and dance ballet
I can show you all of my toys
thought I'd rather be alone today
It's not that I don't like to hang around with you
And though you're fun, I'm on the run, so much to do
Gotta make the dreams I have come true
'Cause life is what you make and to waste it just won't do.
Split Chick
Gotta Split, can't stay
That's the way I'm a split chick
Thanks a lot
Had fun, see you babe
I'm split in two, I'm a split chick.

Stephanie quickly walked through the hallways, a million thoughts were running through her head. She had always been the top in everything she had tried her hand at.
When she was younger she won every contest, whether it was holding her breath the longest, or any other task the kids thought up. She had been teased without mercy as a child too. If you were different, then you were an outsider.
As she got older she learned how to deal with it. She was top in her class in high school, and graduated with honors from college. And now she was the top woman in the wrestling entertainment business. The Diva's were replaceable in her father's eyes, but she had made sure she wasn't.

I can hold my breath forever
I can pledge alliegance in reverse
You know kids can be so clever
It can be a blessing or a curse
When I'm with you I get lose inside your eyes
I forget about the time and I realize
I gotta run along and sing my song
I'll kiss you and miss you and be back before too long
Split Chick
Gotta Split, can't stay
That's the way I'm a split chick
Thanks a lot
Had fun, see you babe
I'm split in two, I'm a split chick
Split Chick
Gotta split, can't stay
That's the way I'm a split chick
Thanks a lot
Had fun, see you babe
I'm split in two, I'm a split chick

Stephanie entered the boardroom, humming along to a song that played in her head. New possible advertisers were seated and Stephanie smiled at them.
A few men looked her over in admiration. Stephanie blushed slightly. She knew she was a beautiful woman, but unlike her TV character, she didn't have an ego about it. She was just a confident woman.
She knew the fans yelled insults at her and hated her. But she was Stephanie McMahon. And not only was she an unmoveable force in the World Wrestling Entertainment business. But she was a force to be reckoned with in the world.

(That's right....)
Every flower has to find a way to reach up to the sun
Even through the cracks in the sidewalk
(whatever...sure)
Gotta make the most of everyday
Makin' friends that'll help me along my way
I'll rise about the fear I feel
I'm gonna take these dreams and make them real
Split Chick
Gotta split, can't stay
That's the way I'm a split chick
Thanks a lot
Had fun, see ya babe
I'm split in two, I'm a split chick
