Trish sat in her locker room as a hair dresser styled her hair for her match that night. More accurately, she was suppose to stand on the sidelines and cheer for Triple H, aka Jean Paul Levesque. Most of the people backstage called him H. since Jean Paul was so into his character and the in-ring experience.
Tonight Trish's duty was to stand in H's corner and just piss off his on screen ex-wife Stephanie McMahon, who would be in the corner of Kurt Angle.
Trish rolled her eyes and snapped her gum impatiently. "It'll be okay Trish. This would go a whole lot faster if you'd sit still for a few seconds." her hair dresser Sandra said. "I can't help it Sandi! I'm impatient to go out and get this over with. You know how I hate to play the eye candy valet, especially since I can do so much more. For God-sakes, I have been the women's champion more than just a few times!" Trish grumbled.
"I know babe. But if you just go along with it for now then you'll get more of the matches you want." Sandi reminded her. Trish sighed loudly. "There...go take a look." Sandi said.
Trish walked over to a full length mirror to check out her appearance. She was wearing a short black skort that had the initals WWF embrodied on the hem. She wore a baby pink halter top that pushed her breasts up so they looked big enough to suffocate her.
All of this McMahon issued, Trish thought as she scruntched up her nose. Trish's hair was straight and pulled back into a half ponytail, tied off with a baby pink ribbon that trailed along the rest of her flowing blonde hair

Take this pink ribbon off my eyes
I'm exposed
And it's no big suprise
Don't you think I know
Exactly where I stand
This world is forcing me
To hold your hand

"I look like a little girl." Trish pouted. "That's the look Vince McMahon wants you in. If you are going to be in Triple H's corner you have to be as face as you can be." Sandi reminded her.
"Anyone would look like a face next to Stephanie's character." Trish grumbled. "Trish, just play nice and you'll be okay." Sandi instructed her.
"But I don't wanna be okay! I worked my butt off to learn how to wrestle. Now that I'm one of the best in today's women's division, I'm stuck playing eye candy! It's degrading!" Trish told her.
"Was it any less degrading when you were eye candy who couldn't wrestle?" Sandi asked. "Oh, leave me alone." Trish pouted.

'Cause I'm just a girl, little ol' me
Don't let me out of your sight
I'm just a girl, all pretty and petite
So don't let me have any rights
Oh...I've had it up to here!

Sandi left the room a few moments later as Trish layed back on a bench. She counted herself among the lucky few that had been here to survive the WCW wars.
Trish knew that she had been granted a wonderful oppurtunity when she was given the chance to valet for the likes of Val Venis, Albert and Test.
She had wrestled against awesome women Joanie Laurer (Chyna), Amy Dumas (Lita) and had even tagged with Amy a few times.
When she had been out for months with knee problems she had used her rehabilitation time to tone her wrestling skills. And the other Diva's had been more than happy to help her out and teach her a few moves.
Since then she had held the Women's championship belt on a few occassions. And she really did feel that being asked to be the valet of a Superstar was an honor. But lately that's all she had been allowed to do and it was frustrating her to no end.

The moment I step outside
So many reasons
For me to run and hide
I can't do the little things
I hold so dear
'Cause it's all those little things
That I fear

Trish walked out of the locker room to go and find H. so they could figure out their enterance and a few other things. On the way to H's locker room, she ran across Andrew Martin, known to the world as Test.
"Hey Trish, just wanted to let you know that one of McMahon's limos would be taking you to the hotel tonight." Andrew told her. "Why?" Trish asked, narrowing her eyes. Andrew was one of her best guy friends and he almost always gave her a ride to the hotel after a show. Nobody wanted any of the Diva's traveling by themselves, or drive themselves anywhere.
"I gotta do a few things here that will take a while. And you know McMahon's policy." Andrew told her. "Yeah Yeah...you ride, not drive, if you have a pussy." Trish grumbled.
Andrew laughed at her paraphrasing. "I don't think that is exactly how he worded it." Andrew chuckled again as he walked off.
Trish was fuming. She hated arriving at the hotel in a limo. It made her look like some snotty ice princess that thought she was to good to drive herself anywhere.
At least that's how the fans took it. If only they knew the truth. She'd gladly drive herself if she were allowed too. "Damnit, next he'll be telling me I have to hold someone's hand when I cross the street." Trish mumbled.
She caught many of the men and a few of the women backstage eyeing her. She sighed again in frustration. To them she was just a freakish barbie girl that came to life.

'Cause I'm just a girl,
I'd rather not be
'Cause they won't let me drive
Late a night
I'm just a girl,
Guess I'm some kind of freak
'Cause they all sit and stare
With their eyes
I'm just a girl,
Take a good look at me
Just your typical prototype
Oh...I've had it up to here!
Oh...am I making myself clear.
I'm just a girl
I'm just a girl in the world...
That's all that you'll let me be!

Trish walked past a nervous looking Torrie Wilson and had to smile. She remembered her eye candy days when she had to go in the ring with women that could beat her down in a heartbeat if they really wanted too. She liked the fact that Stacy and Torrie had went from being eye candy to being wrestlers-in-training.
Trish grimmaced as she thought about her life. She loved the traveling, the meeting people, the work even. She just wasn't sure about the way she was being treated. Was this really her destiny...to be treated like a burden. Trish shook off her feelings and went to find H.

I'm just a girl, living in captivity
Your rule of thumb
Makes me worrysome
I'm just a girl, what's my destiny?
What I've succumbed to
Is making me numb
I'm just a girl, my apologies
What I've become is so burdensome
I'm just a girl, lucky me
Twiddle-dum, there's no comparison.
Oh...I've had it up to
Oh...I've had it up to?
Oh...I've had it up to here.
