Easter Lake Kids (ELKs) is the name of our children's ministry here at Easter Lake Baptist Church. We offer opportunities for our kids
to have fun while learning about Jesus. The younger children take a hands on approach to learning the Bible by working through activities, playing games, and making
crafts appropriate for their age. The older children use their Bible based foundations to apply Christian principles to their everyday life. The children here are a
high priority for our ministry. We strive to see God glorified in their lives.
Come and join us as we seek to honor God in the lives of these most precious children. Come and join the fun!
Psalm 19:8b says, "The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes." NU VU (New View) seeks to take this biblical princilpe and apply it to teaching today's 7th through 12th grade teens.
We seek to give our youth the right tools that they need in living life and getting through those tough teenage years. This is accomplished through looking at what the world says about such issues as intimate
relationships, drug use, lying, cheating, rebellion against parents and authority figures, etc., and then taking a look about what God says in the Bible about such issues. We want to give these youth a new
view on life, one that allows them to truly live and experience the abundant life that God wants for us. Come and join us on Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm in our search for a NU VU on life and living!
In addition to our Wednesday night meeting, our youth group plans and participates in other activities throughout the month.
