Haruka and Michiru Shrine
Welcome to my shrine to Haruka and Michiru, sailors Uranus and Neptune, respectively. They're two of my favorite senshi, because they make such a cute couple, and I think it's great that one of the most popular anime series in the U.S. has an openly gay couple (even though they've never been seen in the U.S. on T.V., Sailor Moon fans do know about them and accept them)...There's no beating around the bush and no attempt to hide it (by the show, at least, though DIC is another matter entirely...). They are also extremely powerful senshi, and very smart, and strong, as well. I had to pay tribute to them, because they are some of the greatest Sailors...(All pics are thumbnailed, click the thumbnail to see the origanal)
Don't they make a beauful couple? I'm glad you think so, but unfortunetly, not everyone is quite as educated as you and I. It's a shame some people object to Sailor Moon because of Haruka and Michiru, simply because of false pre-conceptions. They still see gay, lesbian, and bi-sexual people as abnormal, or sick. Most people base these assumptions off of out-dated, harmful stereotypes. Please; object to this. Most people don't even realizing they're opperating in stereo-type mode. Tell them they're wrong; think of Michiru and Haruka: They're so happy, how could this be wrong?
