His lips crashed down on hers. With a sweet tenderness and warmth, holding back an inner fire. She knew he was afraid that if he let go he'd burn or break her. She had always been the fragile Willow.
So delicate and innocent and naive. No more. She let her hand go to the nape of his neck and forced him closer.
He let a low growl emerge from his throat and began to kiss her with all that held back passion. His lips soon left hers to trail lazily down her neck. Desire seemed to become a tangible thing as his lips ran along her shoulder, his hot breath rushing over her.
"Angel.." she whispered.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The alarm clock blared and Willow practically screamed. She smacked the clock and stuck her head back under the covers. She was so sick of this! Of these stupid dreams! Every night they were all the same. She'd wear that white strapless satin dress with the lace scarf and silver heart locket. And every time, Angel would waltz in and sweep her off her feet.
She was sick of dreams! She wanted reality! She wanted Angel.
She let out a pouted whine and got up.
Well, the dream was gone and so was Angel.
"I'm SO worried!" Buffy had squealed, "I haven't seen him in SO long!"
*Yeah, two weeks without him to follow around at your heels? What ever will you do? Oh wait! You can replace him with Xander!* Willow thought disgusted as she dressed.
Her thoughts had been more angry towards Buffy and Xander of late. All though she had no feelings for Xander anymore and for all she could care, Buffy and Xander could get married, she still couldn't help but carry bitterness.
And she hated herself for it.
*You're not angry at them. You're angry at yourself. Because you want Angel, Buffy's boyfriend. You want him BAD! *
And she did.
Desperately. He was what she wanted, and she bearly knew him.
*If only I could spend some time with him..*, she thought and sighed, *Since he's disappeared that possibility looks even slimmer than before*
She wondered where he had disappeared too.
Still, there was no time for questions. She had to go to school and make good grades and be the, Willow Rosenburg-good little girl, she was forced to be.
*Willow Rosenburg HATES being a good little girl! *, Willow's thoughts growled as she stormed into her house and slammed the front door behind her.
School was boring, Xander was endlessly dense, and Buffy was so absorbed into herself that she seemed like a walking sponge.
Willow was sick of it, sick of them!
When Buffy had asked if Willow wanted to go to the Bronze, Willow had declined nicely, even though she felt like screaming at the blonde to leave her alone.
She was sick of the life as a slayerette and most of all, she was sick of her endless dreams of Angel. Of wanting to see him until her heart ached and having to remind herself that he hardly knew her and most likely couldn't see past Buffy and her tight tops to see a waifish, bookworm like her.
Willow sighed and rushed up the stairs to her room. Once again, her parents weren't home. She had almost forgotten what they looked like.
She'd probably end up with a complex from all this neglect.
She flung herself onto her bed and sighed.
She wanted to just sleep and stay in the dreams. With Angel, where she was happy.
She closed her eyes and prayed for sleep to come.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

There was a soft tap on her window. Willow opened her eyes slowly, feeling groggy.
*I must have fallen asleep*, she thought and went to see what the noise was.
It was most likely Xander, he use to throw small pebbles at her window sometimes to wake her up. She had found it romantic at one point. But he had just done it so he could talk to her about his problems and Buffy.
Willow pulled back the curtains and felt her breath leave her when she saw it was Angel standing on her terrace.
She gulped and opened the window, "Angel.."
"Hey, Willow. Sorry if I woke you up."
"Oh no..it's okay!" Willow said, still startled by his appearance. She made a gallant wave of her hands, "Come in."
Angel stepped in a looked around. He had been in her room before. Not too long ago actually. When he had been so hung up on Buffy. But then he started having such strange dreams..
He turned to Willow and grinned, reaching into his sleeve, "I was on a walk," he pulled a rose from his sleeve and handed it to her, "and I saw this rose and thought of you. You know, red petals, red hair. It's a horrible analogy I know but..."
Angel didn't know why he felt so off center. It was just that Willow was more beautiful in person then she was in his dreams, and it was a bit distracting.
Angel cleared his throat and smiled, "I was thinking...I mean I know it's late and all. But I was thinking. If you wanted to, we could go out."
Willow almost choked, "What?"
"Go out. Me and you, if that's okay. I was thinking we could just talk."
Willow felt her whole body tremble, "Th-That sounds great! Let me just get ready.."
Willow searched her mind to think of what to wear when Angel interrupted her warring thoughts. "I..um..have something you can wear."
Willow turned with a raised eyebrow, "Really?"
"Yeah. I left it on the terrace. Hold on." Angel rushed to the terrace and came back with a long bag with a zipper hanging on a coat hanger.
Willow looked at it wide eyed and gently took it from him. She zipped it open and felt her body shake again.
It was the dress! The one from her dream!
*This is just too bizarre! *, she thought, her heart hammering.
It was such a lovely dress. And he had gotten it for her.
"Do you like it?" Angel asked in anticipation.
"I love you. I mean IT! I love IT!" Willow squeaked, "I love this dress. Let me go put it on."
Willow left red faced at her slip and went into the bathroom to change.
Angel waited and hollered at her through the door, "I'm sorry to be here. I know you're not supposed to have boys in your room."
"Oh it's all right with you I figure," Willow said from behind the door, "I mean..you're not really a boy. You're a man. A vampire on top of that so I think it bypasses the rule completely."
Angel smiled at her clever use of words then felt his jaw drop.
Willow emerged from the bathroom in the long, strapless satin white dress, the lace scarf wrapped around her neck and smiled.
"Do you like it?"
He grinned, "You look perfect."
He took her hand, "Come with me, I want to take you some where special."

Willow and Angel took the midtown bus and soon found themselves on the outskirts of Sunnydale.
Willow hadn't been to this section of town in years. It was mostly old fashioned shops and buildings, most of which had closed.
Angel led Willow to a large building.
"I remember this place. Sunnydale music hall. It was where band members from all the schools use to go and perform. I forgot why they closed it." Willow said softly.
"It got closed due to the unexplained 'murders', " Angel said, "You see, this use to be a BIG vampire area. But as soon as the people moved out, so did the vamps. It's pretty much an abandoned area of the Hellmouth." Angel said and took her hand to lead her inside.
The building was dark and smelled of moss and mud. Willow couldn't figure out why they were there but didn't really care as long as Angel continued to hold her hand.
Angel led her up a long set of stairs. Willow couldn't see a thing in front of her, but Angel seemed to know where to go. The smells of mud and moss gave way to vanilla and lavender. Willow saw a soft light ahead and gasped.
Angel opened a door and Willow almost fainted.
It was the ballroom from her dream. It was a large, circular room with several windows around it. There were no blue skies and puffy clouds but there was the chandelier. And there were tables along the walls. Covered with scented candles.
A wide smile grew on her face.
"So..." he said softly.
"It's so beautiful."
"When I'm not at my apartment, I'm here. I cover up the windows during the day of course but..I've been working on this room for sometime now. You should have seen the way it was before. I just..I wanted it to be nice."
"It's perfect. You have no idea how perfect." She whispered, wondering if he could possibly know how much this was like her dream.
"I got you another present." Angel said and handed her a small box.
Willow opened it and saw a silver heart locket.
"Oh my god," she gasped.
Angel took it out of the box and put it around her neck, "There. It looks nice."
Willow fingered the locket as Angel rushed over to a stereo he had set up. The walls had large speakers attached to them. Angel had not installed this, it just happened to be a stroke of luck. Apparently this HAD once been a ballroom. The musicians would play, and the music would come from the speakers. With some rewiring, Angel had gotten all the speakers hooked to the stereo. He pushed play.

~Oh my life
Is changing everyday
In every possible way
And Oh my dreams
It's never quiet as it seems
Never quiet as it seems~

He held out a hand to Willow, "May I have this dance?"
Willow avoided tears she deemed as foolish and nodded.
"I'm sorry I couldn't get a better dance song but.."
"Shhhhh. This is perfect," Willow said and nestled closer to him, "Just perfect."

~I know I've felt like this before
But now I'm feeling it even more
Because it came from you~

Willow's heart was beating at an erratic speed. This was too much like her dreams. How could this actually being happening? How could she be here with him? This had to be thought out sensibly.
*I mean there's Buffy and Xander and..*
But Willow knew, right there in his arms, in that room, that she didn't care. Love wasn't supposed to BE sensible. It was just suppose to..be.

~And then I open up and see
The person falling here is me
A different way to be
La
I want more (impossible to ignore)
I want more (impossible to ignore) ~

And she loved him. She REALLY loved him and wanted him. And she wondered if he felt the same way at all. Or was this just another dream? Would she wake up? Her arms empty and her heart broken?

~And they'll come true (impossible not to do)
And they'll come true (impossible not to do) ~

As they danced slowly, even though the music was a bit fast paced. Willow heard a sob escape her throat and some tears break lose.
Angel pulled away concerned, "Willow?"
"Why are you doing this to me, Angel? Why are you making me feel this way?" Willow asked, "What about Buffy and.."
"Willow, I wouldn't want Buffy to be here...I.."
How could he tell her?
"You see Willow, I've been having these dreams. I've lived long enough to know that dreams are an important sign in life. They can warn you and show you things you should know. They are pretty much messengers of fate.
And lately..my dreams have been having a theme. They are all pointing to one thing, one person, " he gulped, "You."
He continued slowly, avoiding her eyes, "So I've spent the past two weeks avoiding you completely. I've also avoided Buffy. Buffy, to be honest, has been getting on my nerves of late. I'm not sure why. At one point, I truly thought I loved her. But somehow that has evaporated some where. I don't understand how. Feelings for someone don't just disappear, do they? It can't be so easy to get over someone as I have gotten over Buffy, could it?" he asked himself more than her.
"Unless perhaps, I never felt anything for her at all. Maybe I just fabricated feelings for her from my lust. And I lusted her. How could a man not? She is beautiful and sexy. But she's not, and never can hope to be, you."
Willow listened fascinated, wishing he'd look at her while he said these things.
"Now that I've seen you. I can't even believe I never did...I truly know what lust and want is. My heart aches.."
"Angel..look at me.." She whispered.
Angel looked into her emerald depths, "My heart aches at the sight of you. I would bash my teeth in, rip out my hair, twist a knife in my bleeding heart for just one precious moment with you."
He cupped her soft cheek, "I didn't know how these feelings have happened, but I can't ignore them anymore. So I had came to your house and brought you here tonight to end my dreams and make them reality. To be with you. Willow, I love you."

~And now I tell you openly
You have my heart so don't hurt me
You're what I couldn't find~

The world melted away. It no longer existed or mattered.
*He loves me*
*He loves me*
"Angel...," she whispered, "I love you, too."
She pushed herself against him and took his lips. Angel was suprised at her boldness but VERY happy. His mouth opened easily under hers and his hand cupped the nape of her neck, holding her gently as she explored his mouth.
Her fingers traveled through his dark hair and she let out a soft whimper when he kissed her back. She felt like she was melting under the heat of this kiss that had started of so soft and gentle but was soon winding out of control into an uncontrollable passion.
His hands trailed from her neck down to her back and waist and then back up again.
They pulled away from each other shaky and breathless.

~A totally amazing mind
So understanding and so kind
You're everything to me~

Willow couldn't help but smile when a thought crossed her mind. She quickly pinched herself and yelped.
"Willow? " Angel asked, "Why did you do that?"
Willow felt tears but just grinned and said, " I was just checking.."
Angel looked confused.
"Well, I've just been having the sweetest of dreams lately. I just wanted to see if I was awake or dreaming. But this is mostly definitely real!"
She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him deeply again.

THE END :P~~~~**~~~~
